Definition

Slang expression used to describe a person who imitates another person ideology or behavior. For example, If I were to buy a blue shirt and upon seeing me, my friend went out and bought the same exact blue shirt, she would be describe as being “fala-fashin”. The literal translation for “fala-fashin” is “follow fashion”.


Example Sentences

Patois: Wah mek yuh haffi buy di same exact shirt dat mi buy? You too fala-fashin
English: Why did you have to buy the same exact shirt that I bought? You are too imitative
